Bravecto Plus Topical Solution for Cats

Bravecto Plus for cats is a unique combination of fluralaner and moxidectin designed to treat and control internal and external parasites in cats. Intended for topical use, this solution provides two months of comprehensive protection against a wide range of parasites, including fleas, ticks, roundworms, and hookworms, and even protects against heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis.

With its easy-to-use Twist'n'Use applicator, Bravecto Plus for cats offers convenience for pet parents and ensures that their feline companions receive the necessary protection. It is safe for use in cats and kittens 6 months of age and older and weighing 1.2 kg or greater.

Bravecto Plus for cats is effective in the treatment of intestinal roundworm (Toxocara cati; 4th stage larvae, immature adults, and adults) and hookworm (Ancylostoma tubaeforme; 4th stage larvae, immature adults, and adults) infestations. Furthermore, it kills and controls fleas (Ctenocephalides felis) and also prevents flea infestations.

The topical solution also treats and kills a wide range of ticks, including Ixodes scapularis (black-legged tick), Dermacentor variabilis (American dog tick), and Haemaphysalis longicornis (Asian longhorned tick).

How Does It Work?

Bravecto Plus for Cats contains furalaner and moxidectin as active ingredients. Furalaner is an isoxazoline-substituted banzamide derivative that kills fleas and ticks by interfering with their nervous systems. It blocks the ligand-gated chloride channels in GABA and glutamate receptors, leading to paralysis and death. Furthermore, moxidectin is a macrocyclic lactone derivative, and it affects the GABA and glutamate receptors in intestinal worms, causing hyperpolarization, paralysis, and death.

• Choose the appropriate pack size based on the weight of your cat. Refer to the dosage guide given below.
• Open the package and take the tube out.
• Hold it upright and twist the cap of the tube. As it's a Twist'n'Use applicator, the cap is designed to stay attached to the applicator.
• Let your cat stand still and part the hair at the administration site behind the skull near the neck.
• Place the top of the applicator vertically on the skin and empty the whole contents of the tube.
• You can spot content at one or two sites, making sure there is no run-off.

Dosage Guide

• For use on animals only.
• Only for topical use. Do not administer orally or parenterally.
• Keep it out of the reach of children and other pets.
• Do not allow your cat to lick the tube or packaging.
• Avoid contact with the skin and eyes. If contact occurs, then flush the eyes slowly and gently with water. 
• Do not eat, drink, or smoke while handling the product. 
• It is inflammable; keep it away from sources of ignition, open flame, or heat.

• There are no known contraindications for the use of the product.
