Each Bravecto chewable tablets for dogs contains furalaner, a potent systemic insecticide and acaricide. It starts killing fleas within 8 hours of administration and ticks within 12 hours of administration. By controlling flea populations in the environment, Bravecto can be used as a treatment strategy for managing Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD).

It is suitable for puppies and dogs from 6 months of age and older, weighing over 2 kg and more. It is also safe for use in breeding, pregnant, and lactating dogs and gives rapid action against various ectoparasites.

How Does It Work?

Furalaner is the active ingredient present in Bravecto. It is an insecticide and an acaricide and acts by affecting the nervous system of the arthopods. One Bravecto Chew can provide three months of effective protection against the following parasites:

Fleas
Bravecto chewable for dogs effectively treat and control flea infestations. It kills Ctenocephalides felis and Ctenocephalides canis species of fleas and provides protection for 3 months. Furthermore, it controls the flea population in the environment and helps manage Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD).

Ticks
Bravecto for dogs chewable provide comprehensive protection against multiple species of ticks. It helps treat and control Ixodes scapularis (black-legged tick), Dermacentor variabilis (American dog tick), Rhipicephalus sanguineus (brown dog tick), Amblyomma americanum (lone star tick), and Haemaphysalis longicornis (Asian longhorned tick).
