Revolution Flea & Heartworm Treatment for Dogs

Revolution for Dogs is a vet-recommended monthly parasite prevention treatment. This simple, topical spot-on treatment provides broad coverage against fleas, ticks, ear mites, heartworm disease, and sarcoptic mites. It kills adult fleas and prevents flea eggs from hatching, and hence, prevents further flea infestations. It also prevents tick infestations caused by the American dog ticks (Dermacentor variabilis). Furthermore, regular monthly administration of this powerful treatment also aids in the prevention of heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis. Revolution can be used in dogs six weeks of age and older.

How it works

Selamectin, the key ingredient of Revolution, offers continuous protection against parasites for one full month. It kills more than 98% of fleas within 36 hours and reduces tick infections within one or two weeks. This powerful macrocyclic lactone compound prevents the development of adult heartworms and prevents heartworm disease.

• Firmly press the cap of the Revolution tube to puncture the seal.
• Remove the cap and ensure that the tube is open.
• To administer the product, part the hair on the back of the animal at the base of the neck in front of the shoulder blades until the skin is visible.
• Squeeze the entire contents of the tube on the visible skin.
• Keeping the tube squeezed, drag it away from the liquid and lift to remove. Check the tube to ensure that it is empty.
• Empty the entire contents of the tube in a single spot on your dog’s coat.
• Bathing or shampooing the dog 2 or more hours after treatment will not reduce the effectiveness of Revolution against fleas or heartworm.
• Do not massage the solution.
• Do not apply when the coat is wet.
• Administer regularly every month.

Note: For dogs over 60kg use the appropriate combination of tubes.
